Day 1 ... Since I had to make a clean start on the Georgetowne Reunion page, I decided to upgrade and get my own domain name and lots of storage.  It will take me a while to build the rest of the site, but I think I finally have the Georgetowne material sorted out, updated, uploaded, etc.
If you weren’t a student of Georgetowne Jr. High School in N. Pekin, IL ... that portion of the website probably won’t interest you much.

 

It is my hope to eventually provide a page for you to reply to my rambling comments if you wish to.  I had thought about setting up an official blog with one of those sites that does that sort of thing, but I decided I would rather not deal with the unknown hecklers and hackers those sites inevitably attract.  I would prefer to keep it small and private so I only have to deal with the KNOWN hecklers among my family and friends.  (I can see now that I need some more graphics like smiley faces and stuff to make it extra cuter)  Yes, I will invent words from time to time.  You know me ... You know that I need different words.

 

I’ve also decided to make a place for those stupid jokes some of you have been putting up with.  Instead of flooding your mailbox I will put them here and you can read them (or not) at your pleasure.  That doesn’t mean I don’t want to continue receiving jokes from you.  I just don’t want to bother everyone else by sending them out again.  Many times I send one out and it comes back to me several times from other friends and family doing the same thing.  That doesn’t bother me, but I’m betting it bothers some people ... especially those without broadband connections.  Anyway, the jokes won’t be in the email from now on and soon (hopefully) they will be some place on this site.

 

I’m going to get back to building this thing now and hopefully I’ll have something else to say tomorrow.  (What are the odds I won’t have SOMETHING to say?!)
