I dont know why it is, but every time we start something like buying a new car one thing leads to another. I called Associated Bank (only because we have a checking account there, I cant really call it My Bank because they dont know me from Joe Blow. (No offense Joe)).
I just wanted to find out about car loan rates. You know, loan shopping. So of course the lady wants my name. (At least she didnt give me the full treatment like U.S. Cellular does asking for address, zip code, etc. I occasionally throw in my height, weight and eye color just to throw them off like they really need to know the last four digits of my SS number to answer a simple question).
Next thing I know we are talking about raising the credit limit on my home equity mortgage to buy the new car and then locking the rate in on a fifteen year loan. Who would have thought taking Noah out to look at cars a month ago could come to this?

I finally put together the form page so anyone can anonymously post to this site. The only link I have so far is currently at the lower left of the blue menu bar. Try it out. Start something. Go ahead. I dare you! [Authors note: I have since automated the comment form with a database server so that link is no longer there ]
So, can anyone find a news channel that is reporting anything other than Zion and Lebanon? I know this is newsworthy, but there has to something else going on around the world? And could BP have found a better time to shut down the Alaskan pipeline? If the price of gas keeps going up we will all be driving steam cars.
I dont get any firsthand work gossip since Im retired. I am reduced to living vicariously through Traceys adventures and misadventures at work. She dutifully reports the gossip to me each evening when she gets home.
Let me say that she refuses to share the medical information on her patients or even who they are so I dont get any juicy material to tease people with in that regard. She does, however, share lots of the ins and outs of her encounters with co-workers and bosses at the clinic. Dilbert would have a field day!
Its gotten especially interesting in the past couple weeks as her last boss was asked to Step Down. This must be a kinder, gentler way of saying Youre Fired! ?
I was recently (about four months ago) diagnosed with type II diabetes. I have been trying to lose the weight that has probably caused this condition and have been adjusting and re-adjusting medications to lower my blood sugar.
My first inclination was to regale you with doctor office stories, but I better not. I am reasonably sure they can read and I have to go back again in a couple months. Suffice to say it has been an interesting episode in my life. To their credit they havent once tried to steal my clothes and make me sit on a cold steel table in a paper gown. I suspect thats because they also have imagination and can imagine a nearly naked 350 pound man shivering.
I suspect somewhere in my medical record you might find the word non-compliant. I better stop now.
I think I will go dredge up a few more jokes or funny pictures to put at the top of the Joke page. C U L8TR
