Latest Victim

We will probably never know what really happened to this frequent flyer, but I am inclined to believe him just because it sounds like the ridiculous over-reaction we have come to expect from power drunk security types who misuse their new found authority to terrorize rather than protect from terror.

I have personally heard similar anti-American rhetoric from a Caterpillar supervisor as he removed a miniature US flag from my toolbox. “This is #Caterpillar —— America is out there”, he snarled while pointing in the vague direction of the parking lot. Terrorists can be found in many roles if you understand the intent of these actions are to belittle, harass, threaten and frighten you — to terrorize you. Of course that is just an opinion. I hope I don’t get terrorized over it.

It seems someone else has also noticed how little our Congress has done recently. I also question the quality of what little legislation has trickled through. Just consider the sheer laziness of this bunch. If reading this article doesn’t make you want to throw the lazy bums out —— nothing will.

Evidently it is not a coincidence that Iraq is beginning to sound like a rerun of Vietnam. #HenryKissinger is the LAST person I would take advice from on foreign policy.

I personally think the man is dumber than a post about such things. He’s pretty smart about mooching off Washington though. It took him a couple decades, but he finally found another gullible Repuglican to listen to his nonsense.

Unfortunately thousands of American men and women are paying the price for his stupidity. He has been accused of complicity and encouragement in the atrocities committed by the Argentine military junta. Several have accused him of having committed war crimes. This is not a nice man and he should not continue to influence our foreign policy.

I have been known to make light of some stupid fiasco that has shut down a major airport because authorities have over-reacted to a fingernail file or something.

I was almost inclined the same way when I first read of the letter #KeithOlbermann received. The short piece in the New York Post was in that vein. I thought it was probably just some stupid viewer who took exception to a broadcast and decided to have some fun with him.

After that initial reaction I immediately reversed direction as I considered that people have died from anthrax mailed to them and this joke was really not any funnier than somebody putting a gun to your head. Until you know it is an unloaded gun the threat is real.

I suspect if somebody sent Rupert Murdoch a “Powder Puff” he would not take it lightly. (That was not a suggestion or a request, so please DO NOT do it!)
