Hightower explaining the terrific damage done to our democracy by the criminal
Tom DeLay. In this 1st clip Jim Hightower introduces the 2003
redistricting effort that gave the Republicans a majority in Congress.
Jim Hightower and Molly Ivins both give a short take on the shenanigans of
Tom DeLay’s harnessing business lobbys to do the GQP bidding in return for
influence.
This last clip describes the effect that the 2003 redistricting in Texas had
on the rest of the country, all because of Tom DeLay and the 5 vote margin in
Congress he created by his illegal activities.
