Tracey got her new license plates. She is tickled to get her first choice.
I went out to eat dinner with Mom, DD, Alan and Gloria last evening. Tracey had to work again so she didn’t get to go. They are really taking advantage of her where she works. She is getting a new job in Pekin. She is supposed to move around the middle of December and until then the boss she works for now intends to work her like a mule I guess.
Noah participated in a Halloween Spook House with his karate dojo. He come home all dressed in black and still had black and fake blood on his face. It sounds like he had a pretty good time.
I forgot to mention turning your clocks back an hour —— so you better do that if you haven’t already. Instead of getting an extra hour of sleep I ended up crawling out of bed an hour earlier by the new time.
So here I sit and type while everyone else snoozes. It will probably take me a week or so to get my internal clock reset to the new time. I really wish we could settle on 1 time or another and just leave it alone.

Well, the Legel boys made it home safe and sound yesterday with lots of tales to tell! Dave’s first words to me were “I’ve been countrified”...he said he listened to more country music in four days than he has all of his life! It sounds like they had a great time -- even Dave!
Love the license plates for Tracey’s car! It sounds like Tracey needs a new job! Hope December hurries for her.
I know what you mean about the time change. I was up an hour earlier this morning too. Of course, that meant that I got the paper read sooner so that I could get a jump start on the laundry. Oh boy!

Good Morning Tammy! Glad Dave and Andy had a good time.
Tracey was really happy to get those license plates —— she wanted to “personalize” her new car and she sure did.
She is getting a new job. Come December she will be the manager of the Pekin dialysis center for the company she works for. This will be a nice promotion for her and will hopefully get her better hours on average.
More than anything she is looking forward to getting away from the circus she is working in now. The Peoria Downtown facility is just so large and busy it gets very hectic. Added to that the current business practice of NEVER hiring enough employees —— the employees that do stay are very overworked.
Tracey has been putting in a lot of hours and was beginning to really get burned out. Now that they know she is leaving I think they are piling on a bit —— taking advantage of her while they can. The past two weeks she has been scheduled four 8 hour shifts and one 12 hour shift each week. Since she routinely works an extra hour or two every day anyway —— she has really been putting in a lot of hours. The overtime pay has been nice, but she is never home to enjoy it.
The Pekin unit is much smaller and should be a lot less hectic. And as manager she will be able to fix some of the problems she has to put up with now because she can’t convince the current managers to fix them. We shall see come December.
