I was wrong about Tracey’s hours yesterday —— she only had to work an eight-hour shift! It was weird seeing her pull into the driveway while it was still light out.

At first I thought it was someone coming to the door to sell something and then I recognized this person as my wife!

I took her out to eat at Ruby Tuesday’s and we were very surprised to see they have new coffee cups. New BIG coffee cups.

Between the coffee cups and the napkins I thought I had finally found a regular place to dine —— and then they brought the bill. Oh Well —— it was nice up until then.

Noah phoned home yesterday afternoon. He has seen several deer but hasn’t shot one yet.

Aaron and Ben got their grade reports and they both swear the biology teacher must not have recorded their test grades because they didn’t do so too good in biology. We shall see.

I am more inclined to believe them than the school. The school doesn’t have a very good record of doing things right. If Aaron and Ben are right, and I think they are, then there are a lot of kids getting bawled out by their parents for dropping two letter grades or so because a major test score wasn’t put into the computer.

Of course the school people will just shrug and grin about it —— but I don’t think they would have that attitude about students not fulfilling their responsibilities. Great role models.

It looks like another beautiful day again. I can’t get too many of those. I suspect we may regret the eventual effects of global warming —— but so far I can’t complain about warmer winters.

Oh yea, I drank from the new coffee cups at R. Tuesdays, but I didn’t know that was a gripe of yours or I would of informed you! Did they have their new plates too? The waitress said they were going square instead of round with their new plates. Personally, the cups were too big -- coffee got cold before you could sip it halfway down. Then, there’s the HUGE saucers under the LARGE cups ... they now need bigger tables to hold all of the dinnerware!

I’m with you -- the bill stinks from them! Takes your savings account to eat there!

Have a great day!

I think Tracey likes the big cup because they don’t “ruin the mix” by adding more coffee to her mostly sugar and cream.

My coffee rarely gets cold because I drink it right down. And I don’t drink as much as I used to. (And I mean coffee —— I don’t drink ANY of the stuff you’re not supposed to drink and drive!)

We didn’t get any saucers at all and the plates weren’t square —— they were sorta oval.

Have a great day back to you!
