11/21/2006 Phone NumbersHow many phone numbers do you have in your household? It used to be you might have two or three if you counted the work numbers of husband and wife.Now, with the insanity of having to have a separate number for every cell phone, you can have way too many. We have seven telephone numbers in our household counting Tracey’s work phone number. The one for the phone hooked to the wires in our house is used almost solely for the DSL connection to our computer and the occasional call from Mom who calls that number instead of my cell phone. I hope someday we will convince our government to regulate this insanity better so we can simply have one number to reach however many phones we want it to. That probably won’t happen because it makes sense. |
