11/25/2006 CupsThis peeve is generally about the size of coffee cups in many restaurants but it can be applied to all beverage containers.I really enjoy dining in a place that either has a large coffee cup or where they leave a coffee decanter at the table. Both of which are not very common anymore. I will even settle for the dinky cup if they keep someone circulating about with the coffee pot. Usually they fill your cup when you order, then they bring your food, refill the cup, drop the bill on the table - and disappear. I like coffee and I drink a lot of it with a meal. A few places that meet that need (yes it IS a need!) but most don’t. |
