I agree with much of what Luciano says in his article but I don’t think we are going to put the cell phones back into obscurity.

It is not the phone that is annoying but the jerks who use them —— sorta like the old adage: “Guns don’t kill —— people do!”

Maybe we ought to ban beeping watches too. And gag those noisy kids. Shoot —— we need to find a way to silence people altogether, especially those noisy (but profitable) sounds of masticating and slurping sodas.

Tsk Tsk Phil, we can’t turn back the clock. I would suggest Avanti’s hire more intelligent people who can discern the difference between a conversation and a food order. Or change the sign to read, “If we give you a hysterectomy instead of a Gondola —— it’s your own fault for yakking on the phone?”

I received an email from Grandpa Neal with a picture of Seth & Cole each with an eight point buck.

I will post here on the Blog because they are rightfully excited about getting a deer this year.

I hope Noah isn’t too sad because he didn’t get one this year and I don’t know if he will get the chance to later (I know NOTHING about hunting seasons). Congratulations Seth & Cole —— try not to rub it in too hard on poor Noah.

Tracey is off to work already this morning —— she left about 4:30 a.m. She has started counting the days until her new job begins and is so looking forward to a different work schedule. Me too!
