I was lucky this week —— I didn’t have to do #JuryDuty. I checked again yesterday as I am supposed to do every Wednesday and they tell me there is a jury trial scheduled for next Monday and I am supposed to check in again Friday to see if they need me.

I hope they settle it out of court. I don’t want to drive to Peoria and listen to a bunch of lawyers. I really hope they shut down early for Christmas and I get a short month of this.

This web site is getting big enough I can see it will need some better organization. As we get into the new year I will be making some changes so just bear with me. If something doesn’t work please let me know!

I know I run the risk of getting stale by posting Luciano two days in a row —— but this article about snow removal (especially the title) says it all. When it snows —— you either shovel or wait until it melts —— planning to shovel doesn’t work.

This one-liner was forwarded to me by my mother —— and I am beginning to understand how she feels. Just beginning though.
