It would appear some of my luck ran out on the #JuryDuty. My number came up and I am supposed to be at the Peoria Federal Court on Monday morning or be prepared to go to jail. I guess now I will just have to hope they think I am too grouchy be a juror.

I am planning to go to Noah’s Karate Exhibition this morning with Aaron & Ben. Tracey is going to try to get some time off to go too but I don’t have much confidence in her boss letting her do it. After Tracey bailed them out last Saturday for almost 14 hours (when she was supposed to have the day off) her lazy boss can’t bring herself to let Tracey have a day off.

And it is the only day she has asked for in the past two years. I will be SO glad when she leaves this selfish bunch.

Once again our do-nothing Congress Critter makes the local headlines. Not for something he has done for us —— but once again outraged that someone would DARE come to HIS district and talk about doing something for the people. How DARE these ignorant people ignore the Good ‘Ol Boy Network of partisan politics and try to publicly suggest he —— do something.

Are you still printing/getting comments from me?

If so, where’s the pictures? I miss them.
Tammy 09 Dec 2006, 8:11 a.m.
Hi Tammy —— the last comment I show from you was on December first about all the snow and I posted it.

I am working on some changes for the New Year and one of those is how I do the pictures. It was too haphazard and I was choosing pictures that had been posted before and had to redo it, etc.

I am hoping to post the pictures less often than every day —— but I hope to put a whole bunch up at a time. I just have to figure out how I want to do it! Be patient and I will get them started. Snow shoveling and now this #JuryDuty thing are cutting into my precious Blog time!
MjL 09 Dec 2006, 8:31 a.m.
I know I’ve sent two small comments since the first. That’s why I asked you if you were getting them.

Yea, that snow cut into a lot of my big plans! Jackie and Dick and all are coming here for Christmas in a little over a week. I needed to be doing other things besides shoveling snow. I didn’t get the outside decorated and now I don’t know if I ever will. I still can’t see all of my porch or driveway. Maybe I should just “paint” the snow red and green!

Have a sunny day!

Hello Michael. Now that Tammy mentioned it, I too sent a comment awhile back ... however considering how addelpated I am getting I wondered if it was my problem.
JEL 09 Dec 2006, 12:46 p.m.
Well shoot! There must have some glitch with the web server or something. I always post what I get as soon as I see it. I would have gotten to these sooner but I spent a lot of today at Noah’s karate exhibition. If you ever send a comment and don’t see it up in a day please email or something. I guess I can’t count on this outfit to properly maintain their servers either. Bummer!

Hello out there in computer land!

If anyone has smaller children, take them to Folepi’s in East Peoria. It really is kind of neat and mostly FREE....yep, you heard it....FREE!

They’ve added a laser show which is about 25 mins. or so long. It’s xmas carols with characters and lasers. You can buy “special glasses” for 1.00 to watch the show. Personally, I had them, but liked it better without. The laser show is nice for all ages I think.

They have decorated trees, some displays, a village set up with a small train running thru it, few small craft items, food, drink, Santa of course, and a train ride along with other rides. The rides (carousel, ladybugs, strawberries) are 1.50 each.

They also have those wild and crazy mirrors to amuse yourself in! They were great! It was hilarious to see so many people with long legs, cone-shaped heads, short legs, etc. We all had a good time there tonight.
