12/12/06 Quote «The Legel Report»
When you go into court you are putting your fate
into the hands of twelve people who weren’t
smart enough to get out of jury duty.

I stumbled on some good quotes and I thought the one for today was apt.

Even though I didn’t intentionally try to get thrown off the jury —— we live in such a “politically correct” society that if you ever speak an opinion that is not PC during jury selection you will get excused.

They don’t really seem to want a jury of thoughtful people but one that has a blank slate for a mind.

It would appear that I have made a repeat of Aaron’s photo today because I can’t keep track of what I have posted.

Actually it is the “after” picture of his hair after Tracey straightened it for him. Although most of the women I know are really delighted to see a tall, dark handsome dude with curly hair —— Aaron didn’t like his curly hair at all.

So now he will try straight hair for a while and we will see if he likes that better. I would just be happy to HAVE hair.

Tracey spent yesterday at her new office in Pekin. She seemed to be very happy when she got home (at a decent time!) last evening. She is really looking forward to going to work there and I am happy for her.

I can almost remember what it was like to actually enjoy work. That was long ago when I was a toolmaker for Cat in the 70s and before the Greedheads took over the world completely.
