01/27/07 Quote «The Legel Report»
Go through your phone book, call people and ask them
to drive you to the airport. The ones who will drive you
are your true friends. The rest aren’t bad people;
they’re just acquaintances.

I don’t often wax spiritual or discuss religious matters. My Mom sent me a link to the video below about a young girl who claims to visit heaven and has started a small revival movement of her own. Her paintings are pretty cool.

I am not what most people would call a “religious person” or even a “Christian” although I tend to think more in terms of Christianity. I am not an atheist in that I believe in the possibility of a god, even the probability of a God. (as in capital G)

I have also decided that in the interest of world peace I am just not going to pick a particular religion because in this crazy world if you believe in a particular version of god you have to be willing to fight to the death to defend that choice.

So I don’t want to fight about it. I will let the right God pick me —— or not. I know that doesn’t make a lot of sense to most people. It might even sound pompous. I would rather be judged for not choosing than for choosing wrongly.

Anyway, when I pray, He or She hears me and certainly knows who He or She is —— so I am the only one who doesn’t know who He or She is.

I can live with that.

About letting God pick you, makes perfect sense to me.

Good morning Mom! And thank you for your support —— looks like a beautiful sunny day to come. Enjoy it and we shall see you for dinner this eve.

Spring is here! There are two robins in my yard this morning.

And they say the early bird gets the worm. Obviously not the smartest robins in the flock, maybe they are scouts.

Now that’s something to jump up and down about.....ROBINS!

I mean, hey, they’ve got shorts, swim suits, and beach toys out in the stores! I guess those two robins wanted first dibs on them!
