It is nice to hope that Tracey’s robin sighting means Spring has arrived, but I don’t think so! I didn’t see them and she has no independent witnesses —— so I wonder if perhaps it is a simple case of cabin fever or wishful thinking. It is still plenty cold out there!
We went out to eat with Alan, Glo, DD and Mom last evening. Noah came along this time so we had some different conversation for a change. We didn’t stay at Mom’s for very long because Noah wanted to get home. Guess he can only take so much of us old folks.
Alan mentioned he had gone online to see his next Cilco bill and said it is a lot higher. I have no doubt. Now that they can set their own price it is going to get gruesome. Especially this summer when the temperatures climb. The electric industry learned well from the Enron, WorldCom debacles. Expect legalized robbery at its worst.
