I sure know what you mean about “putting things away”. That is a favorite excuse around here. I will ask Tracey where something is and she will say, “I put it away.” Some day I hope to find “away” and retrieve all the stuff that has been put there!
Tracey just left for work about 15 minutes ago so her car seems to be working OK. We got the Taurus back in the garage last night and I hope it goes too. It has been starting hard since all this cold weather.
I sure hope Dave’s car starts and Andy’s air stays in his tires. Maybe you can have a longer shower this morning but I don’t need the cold hands -- warm butt details. That was spooky!

All is quiet here for another 5 mins. It’s snowing here already -- yuck! I’m tired of winter and cold weather. Those Robins in your yard need to start working their magic!

I suspect those poor robins either flew back south real fast or they are frozen to a tree limb somewhere! What were they thinking!
Our house awakens in separate episodes. I’m usually up between 4 and 4:30. Noah around 6:30 and Aaron & Ben at 7:00 when I go shake them out. Tracey varies from day to day depending on her schedule. She was up at 4:40 today to open the clinic by 5:30. Tomorrow she won’t go to work until 8:00. Her schedule is too wacky for me to keep straight.
I should be pretty warm except the trip to drop Aaron & Ben off at school. I have no errands to run today so I guess I will do laundry. Now that we have the car back I plan to take Aaron out driving this evening so I better rest up for that.

The last to roll out is up (Ashley). Great day! The Ford started and I got a 10 min. shower! Celebrate!

My last 2 guys are stumbling about looking for socks, shoes, etc. We will be out the door here by 7:30 and then my day gets a whole lot quieter and less hectic. So far nothing has been lost, broken or forgotten. I hate the “I forgot my homework!” mornings. I don’t know how they manage to do that, but about once every couple of months we have a marathon homework morning.

So, did you teach Rosie to do sidewalks and drives today?!
We cancelled preschool this afternoon. It was drifting out there in the country and we couldn’t keep up with teaching and shoveling! I got home early to NOT find my drive! Then it took me almost an hour to scoop it and part of the back patio so we could open that door. I’m sore already! Andy is still at school. Hopefully, he’ll get his car out and get home.

Noah came home early from work and Tremont let the other 2 boys out at 1:30. I wish Rosie could do snow, that would be real neat. I am going to send the boys out to do the walks and steps. There will be some groaning about that!
