Well, I spent yesterday morning getting estimates on the Honda deer damage. I ended up leaving it at Grimm’s in Morton to fix. The radiator is leaking and the A/C condenser was busted so I didn’t want to drive it too much.
After I got home I spent some time on the phone with the insurance agent, the insurance company and the insurance adjuster. I made it clear to all of them that only one deer was injured. That it leaped in front of the car, so there was no fault of ours. And if more than one deer limped in to make a claim they would have to sort it out.
Fortunately my warped sense of humor didn’t cause anybody to hang up on me.
I also re-scheduled the dental appointments for Aaron & Ben but I will have to do it again because, of course, I scheduled it wrong again.
I thought they could go in over Spring Break as they wouldn’t miss any school that way, but I was informed that is when they are all going to Watson to visit at the Neal family farm. OK —— so now we will negotiate dates again.
The snow has finally melted off our driveway enough to get into the garage and this is very nice. No more scraping windows every morning!
