Heres a news flash for all those who were sure the Raygun service economy would never outsource white collar jobs wake up! In a global economy your jobs are just a phone call away.
So King Duh-bya wants to mandate what Congress will or wont do. I would reply by telling the moron to forget about any meetings until he climbs down off that self styled pedestal and realizes he doesnt speak for the people of the country anymore.
#Memories There is some explanation that goes with the family picture for today. Noah was four months away from his sixth birthday during the Christmas season of 1993.
At that time his whole world revolved around The Power Rangers! The hot item for the season was the Megazord, a transformer type toy that was built from each of the individual Power Ranger morphs. Noah wanted Santa Claus to bring this for Christmas. It was the ONLY thing on his Christmas list.
We tried to explain to Noah that this was a very popular present for all good little boys and Santa may not be able to give one to everybody. He was adamant.
Finally, about two weeks before Christmas, we tried again and he made his ultimatum. With tears in his eyes and his arms folded across his chest Noah stated emphatically that Santa would bring him a Megazord or else there was no Santa. He knew if Santa were REAL He would not let him down.
After literally hours on the telephone calling every possible store Santa found a small shop in Creve Coeur that was expecting one in a shipment later that day. Santa talked the clerk into reserving it for Noah.
Santa rushed to this store at the appointed time and the clerk motioned him off to the side immediately and whispered there were two people in the store asking for a Megazord at that very minute and silence was in order!
The deal was done at the back of the store and a well wrapped and concealed Megazord was ushered out of the side door.
And this is the story of a wonderful lady at the Foglers Variety Store in Creve Coeur and how she helped Santa save Christmas for Noah.

Oh does that picture bring back Power Ranger memories over here! I understand perfectly what Santa HAD to do!
The kids and I were in your neck of the woods yesterday shopping. Oh my, I thought we were going to get lost in those potholes between Menards, CEFCU, Steak N Shake, etc.! WOW! It takes some skill to drive through there!
We sure had fun spending all of Daves money!
What a dreary day.

Yes the weather is not so nice. I made Ben mow some grass last evening and he left the mower out under the tree to get washed by the rain.
I spent a couple hours last week cleaning out a spot in the garage to park the mower but I guess Ben was just too tired from mowing to put the mower back where it belongs! We will have WORDS!
Those potholes are OK though because somebody took the time to spray paint white circles around them. Tracey and I noticed this Sunday when we were at Menards shopping for fence and posts.
I think there might be an entire car in some of those holes! Be careful thats how Noah ruined his car tire a week ago he hit the edge of one of those monster holes on Washington St. in Peoria and tore a gash in the sidewall of the tire. $$$$ !
Every time I look at that picture of Noah and his Megazord I am transported back in time! He sat on the couch with the box for a while after unwrapping it and before opening it.
He was in an ecstasy of delight. He just kept saying, Santa is REAL! He really is REAL! Look what he got for me!
I had always been somewhat dubious about tarnishing the religious reason for Christmas with the hoopla of tree and presents, etc. That Christmas made a believer out of me. I dont know if Noah remembers that Christmas but I will never forget it.
Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ, but it is also a time of magic for little kids. They lose the magic all too soon and the belief in Santa Claus is a magic never regained once lost.

Yea, I did notice how pretty they made the potholes! It was a challenge to stay out of the holes.
Yes!...Christmas....kids....Santa....magic.....definitely the best!
