Goodness we sure got some rain last night! I guess I wont be getting the swamp mowed anytime soon again. I was lucky I managed to get it beat down once already and I made a muddy mess of it then.

I spent most of the day yesterday typing an invitation to our #Georgetowne reunion, printing it, folding it, stuffing envelopes, licking yucky envelopes, printing labels, labeling envelopes, buying stamps, stamping envelopes, and mailing envelopes. Even with all that it is worth seeing old friends!

We went to the #USCellular store in the old Pekin Mall parking lot to get Tracey a new phone. She got one of the new Motorola Razr phones that has a camera in it, Bluetooth, removable memory, etc. She also got a new wireless Bluetooth headset to go with it.
So now she is all set for those conference calls at work. She was going to wait until August when the contract on her current work phone expired, but she is really tired of receiving phone calls for the previous owner of her work phone.
She gets more of those on the phone than calls from work. It does get old having the silly thing ring every day with people looking for Bonnie (the previous owner).

I watched some CNN last night and saw some of the testimony from #JessicaLynch and the #PatTillman family. It seems no matter what the subject this government of ours has lied and created elaborate stories.
It must be very frustrating for these two families to have to put up with all this horrible nonsense after all they have sacrificed for this country.
I think the worst part of it all is not that nobody will be punished for these deceits, but that nobody in our government even seems to care how shabby they are treating our military casualties and their families. I fear this era will go down as the most shameless fraud in the history of America.
