In all recorded history there has not been one economist who has
had to worry about where the next meal would come from.

I didn’t get the push mower out yesterday but did some mowing on the rider.  I did some other work outside but had to keep coming back into the house to see how the file copy process was going on Mom’s hard drive.  I decided I had better back up her stuff before I tried to get it moved to Ben’s old computer.  Thanks to Bill Gates’ worry that he might lose a couple bucks I had to do a “Repair” install of the XP system that was already on Mom’s hard drive because Greedy Bill won’t let you just swap them and reconfigure the hardware.  Who would have thought we would call the hijack of our computers with a new operating system as “progress”?  I think we got it all back working OK and we took it back to Mom’s to hook it up.  I haven’t had any emergency phone calls from Mom so I guess it is working.  I know she must have had some serious computer withdrawal symptoms by the time we got it back to her!

Noah was a lot better yesterday.  He was out of bed and eating.  Denise spent the afternoon with him so his moral was a lot better too!
