Anybody who wants the presidency so much that
he’ll spend two years organizing and campaigning
for it is not to be trusted with the office.

WE’RE BACK!

I’ve already started my “Sunday routines” -- only a little later. The flights were late out of Jacksonville last night and really late leaving Atlanta. By the time we landed in Bloomington, got our luggage, went thru a McDonalads drive thru (we were starved!) and drove home, it was going for 1 a.m.!

We had the BEST time! Of course, it was way too short. We had hot weather with a breeze. It only rained a couple of times, but we missed the short showers because we were in a restaurant and then in our hotel room. St. Augustine is a beatiful, historical city with way too much to see in 2 1/2 days. We did our best though.

Ahhh...Magic Kingdom and Epcot. I did it all, well, almost....I didn’t do a ride at Epcot called Fast Track. It was supposed to be a Nascar and you’re the driver. I thought it would go way too fast and it went around a big circle track. After the others did it, they said I could of done it. I guess it only went around the track 1 time and it only reached about 70 mph. Oh well. I did do one at Epcot that just about did me in. We all went to Mars! To tell you how “bad” it was, I had a “puke sack” in my pocket and I actually had my hand on it during the ride! I guess I’m not and never will be an astronaut!

Oh, the fringe benefit of the vacation....we actually saw the space shuttle go up! We were in the ocean on St. Augustine Beach and there it was! It was so cool!
Guess I’d better tend to the dirty laundry now so that we don’t all have to go around naked! The “fun” part of the vacation ending!

Have a good day and oh yea, Mickey says “Hi!”

Welcome Home!

Glad you all made it back home without mishap (no nasty sunburns, etc.?) and that you didn’t get rained out or anything. Sounds like a good time! Makes me jealous. I don’t think we are going to get a vacation this year. Other than the Turkey Festival —— I don’t think you missed anything around here.
