I discovered the U. S. Cellular website has some interesting new features. You can check your minutes used, text messages, etc. You can also download the bill in PDF format. For those of you with U. S. Cellular phone service —— check it out at www.uscellular.com


My neighbor to the north asked me if I would help him with his computer email. I tried to figure out what Verizon had done to him but couldn’t. He uses the Yahoo Mail service on Verizon to handle his mail account and it is all messed up.

He said they changed it recently and since then he can’t read his email. You can see all the email headers, but none of the messages. I looked all over for some way of changing that and could find no help.

I think Verizon has one of the worst web sites. They are always screwed up and nobody seems to know from nothing about them.


I spent a couple hours mowing and none too soon. I had let it go for too long and with the recent rain it was thick in spots. I wore a bandana to keep from dripping in my eyes and ended up with a zebra stripe sunburn. Guess you will have that —— should have worn my hat too.


My gadget for the van battery arrived and I hooked that up. I will have to leave the headlights on one of these days soon and see if it disconnects the battery like it is supposed to. It would be nice to finally have the battery problem solved.
