Twenty-three years ago today Tracey and I said our wedding vows. It has been a pretty good journey thus far with the usual twist, turns and bumps along the way (and a few unusual!). I am looking forward to another 23!

I finally got word on our busted #Taurus last evening. $400 to fix all the leaking rusty brake lines. I hate to pay that but I hate crawling around under a rusty car more. I just keep telling myself it is still less to maintain the old thing than it would be to have a monthly payment for a new car.
I will have to wait until Monday to pick it up because there’s nobody home to haul me to the repair shop to get it.

Because the date is 07-07-07 it is supposed to be a lucky day, but I can’t say it has been thus far. I awoke early to find a lot of dog poop all over our sun room because Jake can’t seem to let us know he needs to go out.
I cleaned that up and started to get my pills for the morning and bumped a pill bottle off the table. The whole month’s worth of my diabetes pills landed in Jake’s water bowl. Blech!
Hopefully the day can only get better from here!

I didn’t know that you were married 7-7. Dave and I got married on 7-6...22 years ago. Wow...almost could of gotten married together!

Congratulations to you guys as well! We were engaged in April on Friday the 13th. We had planned to get married on Friday the 13th in July of 1984 but my sister Tari whined about her then husband not being able to attend because he had Guard duty. So we changed the date —— and they still didn’t show up. We did get married at 13:13 though (1:13 p.m.) on 7-7. Just another of life’s little stories! We seem to have our share too!
