I thought I would post a quick entry to let everyone know we made it home alive and well. We were so happy to get back after all the airport congestion, bumpy ride on a vomit comet, and the heat.

We had a wonderful reception from Jake —— I thought he was going to wag his butt right off. Best case of happy butt I have ever seen!

The boys went right to their computers as they really missed the Internet. It didn’t take me long to head off to bed to sleep off the miles. I even slept in past 8:00!

I spent a long while on sorting our mail into two piles. Although the junk mail / throw-it-away pile was larger —— the bill pile was more depressing. Nothing like a stack of bills to bring you home from vacation to reality.

I will try to get the Blog more up to date in the next few days —— until then —— see you later!

Welcome home! Hope you had a great vacation.....and yes, the “real world” is still here!
Tammy 12 Aug 2007, 11:43 a.m.
Hi Tammy! Yes —— it was a great vacation. Especially the weather. Temperatures hardly ever above 80° and mostly in the lower 70s —— and no rain at all. We really had a great time. Still, it is good to be home to our own beds, shower, etc.

Welcome home ! good to see you all got back safe and sound, missed you at the cracked barrel yesterday,Al and Glo were able to join Dee and myself,we retired to my place, and discussed current events, solved many world problems as usual,I enjoyed our get-to-gether as I always do.

Dee brought me a sun lamp, bless her heart,so will see if that will help keep me awake, hope so, any way shame to sleep my life away whats left of it lol.I suspect it has to do with poor circulation, knows as a person gets older all kinds of things pop up,cant always be sure why.

Hope you all enjoyed your trip.

Love and missed you all bunches,

Mom L.

Sure wish you would of brought me a souvenier.....cool weather! It’s been soooo hot here! I’d love some 80’s right now.
Tammy 12 Aug 2007, 3:01 p.m.
Hi Mom —— Hi again Tammy! Sorry to be a little late but I HAD to take a nap. They were in short supply on the trip. Although I managed to sneak a few in the car (even once while I was driving!).

I’m glad you had a good time together with everyone Mom —— I’m sure it was an opportunity to solve a lot of world problems. I wouldn’t worry too much about snoozing now and then —— you’ve earned it! We missed you too and plan to see you this coming Saturday at the latest.

I wish we could have brought home some of those cooler temps Tammy. It was unreal. Tracey and the boys had to wear long sleeves on the beach because the sea breeze was so cool. It didn’t warm up enough to get a sunburn until the last couple of days —— so Tracey got a sunburn!
