A United States national observation that celebrates the development of human flight. The holiday was established by a presidential proclamation in 1939, which designated the anniversary of Orville Wrights birthday to be National Aviation Day.
Aaron is healing up slowly. Tracey snapped a picture of him yesterday morning and I included it with todays entry so you can see his chipmunk cheeks from the swelling. I think he looks older like what he might look like in forty years or so.
Ben and Tom joined us at the Cracked Barrel last evening for dinner. Tracey and I had missed the gathering the past two weeks so it was really nice to catch up on old and new gossip.
There were eight of us there with Al & Glo, Mom & DD, Tracey & I and Ben & Tom. The boys didnt join us for the session after dinner at Moms trailer, but the rest of us covered some new ground with discussions about movies and movie stars the Earths magnetic poles polygamy, religion and some psuedo-psychology from me and other stuff to fill in the corners. Lots of fun!

I received a link from Michael T. a few days ago about the structurally deficient bridges in Illinois. I meant to post it sooner but it got lost in my messy Inbox.
The link was originally to a file at the Journal Star I have copied it to the site. I surprised there werent more Tazewell and Peoria county bridges on the list, but there are still enough to make you wonder.
