My sister Rhonda and her daughter Renee joined us for dinner last evening. It has been some time since we have seen them and it was fun to catch up on some of the news about their move. They are going to move from where they currently live in northern Illinois (Sherrard) to Minnesota. Rhonda will fit right in with her blond hair and fair skin —— she looks Nordic.


It is probably no news that I managed to procrastinate the rest of the grass mowing yesterday. I’m going to try to finish it up today. No! Really!


I have been staying with the picture editing for the past twelve days by working on ten pictures a day from the vacation pictures. I have found that if I try to sit down and do them all then I get burned out about halfway through and it may take several months to finish them.

I’m trying something new this time. Just 10 a day. It doesn’t take very long, I enjoy it a whole lot more, and I might even get them all done by the end of the year!
