I retired four years ago on Sept. 1st, 2003. It just happened that it was also Labor Day which I thought was a fitting coincidence for ending thirty years of labor with a most anti-union company in the country.
I suspect had Caterpillar been a better place to work I would still be there. After decades of Legels making profits for Caterpillar there arent any there now as far as I know. I was the third generation, and up until a couple weeks ago Noah was the fourth generation to work there although he didnt get a Cat paycheck. Cat now hides behind temp agencies and subcontractors rather than run their own business.

#BreakfastMichaelT Michael T. and I had breakfast together yesterday and some good conversation. We shared some interesting points of view regarding Christianity, creationism, evolution and biblical history.
I have to admit I didnt realize the depth of my ignorance regarding the origins of the old testament until yesterday and I spent some time reading about that (again) later yesterday afternoon. I think what bothers me the most wasnt that I was showing my ignorance in the discussion as much as that I had once read the history before and either totally forgotten or misconstrued it in my memory.
This may be a foreshadow of advancing age and I am not looking forward to more of that! Perhaps I need to re-examine some other facts I have been so freely quoting
