Tracey went to Champaign, IL right after she got off work last
evening. She didn’t get home until after 11:30 p.m. and we didn’t get to
bed until after midnight. I am late with the Blog this morning because we
got to bed late last night ... and because I am in no hurry to type bad
news. Our nephew Derek won’t be coming home. He will remain on life
support so that he can be an organ donor. It is a terrible sad end to a
young life. He was born just a few months before Tracey and I were married
in 1984 and is only about 4 years older than Noah. Alan, Mom, Denise and I went out to eat last evening. Denise updated
us on her continued yard work and the antics of her bad neighbors. They
chopped down the maple tree that shaded part of her garden and she had planted
stuff that needs shade. Alan told us that he and Gloria will be going to
Minnesota to vacation for a week and will be leaving today ( I think). I
complained of the long hours Tracey has been working. I am afraid she will
get burned out again at the rate she is going. And, of course, we
discussed how scared we get for our children after a death in the family such as
Derek’s.

09:29 a.m. Tammy I am so
sorry. It is sad to loose someone in your family and at such a young
age. If you guys need anything, just let us know!
Take care.

The only thing Carolyn (Derek’s Mom) is asking for is your prayer for the
family. Everyone in the family is taking it hard and there is really
nothing to be said or done to undo the loss. Thanks for your good
thoughts.
01:39 p.m. Coral Jae This weekend
has been hard! It looks like the week isn’t gonna get any better! So
if you would all keep us in your prayers that would be
nice!
Thanks ~Coral Jae~

Hi Coral.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers ... as is Derek. I know it
seems like it will be impossible to get used to -- but time will heal some
of it. Lean on your friends and family, they will not let you down.
