#InsuranceMafia Ive been checking the insurance company web site since we sold the #AstroVan to make sure they dropped the insurance on it. The change in my policy declaration finally showed up yesterday.
The van was no longer listed as insured and the rate on the #Blazer had increased significantly. I was grumping and harrumphing just about ready to leave the site when I noticed they still had comprehensive and collision on the Blazer.
I had distinctly told the lady at the insurance agency to drop that coverage to save a few bucks.
Turns out it is about 500 bucks once you add a teenage driver. So I called our agency and the gal says she will fix it. I will keep checking.

I noticed last evening (now that it seems to start getting dark at NOON) that our front porch light is dead. Again!
Theres a bulb burning in the hood vent over our stove that never gets turned off. (The boys couldnt find the kitchen without it?) It lasts almost forever and Im sure that is because it is real easy to change.
The front porch light requires a ladder and a screw driver, but it will only last a couple weeks? How smart are these bulbs anyway?
Adds a whole new dimension to the phrase, How many people does it take to change a bulb? Or is it, How many bulbs will have to be changed to light the front porch for a month!?
