Cafferty: Whitehouse Email Crimes

It’s 4:30 a.m. and Tracey just went out the door for another 16 hour workday. I don’t know how she stays so cheerful about it.

She said she had her health department inspections yesterday and she thought it went OK. It will be next week before the reports are all typed up so she won’t know for sure until then.

Her boss just “happened” to be there yesterday and Tracey thought that was a nice coincidence. I don’t think so. The boss hasn’t been around for almost 3 months and just happens to show up on the same day as a once every two years health department visit?

Anyway Tracey was happy to have her boss there to see it went well and they got some free pizza from the boss for lunch. But then there is no such thing as a free lunch.


Noah is still carrying the company laptop around everywhere he goes. He has to be “on call” until next Thursday and already he is sick of it.

He had some joker call him in the wee hours of the morning to ask him why his DVD wouldn’t play in his company laptop. Noah told him he would call tech support for him. Noah had a bad time getting back to sleep after that.


I never even set foot outside the house yesterday. I was going to but somehow never managed to get out there to mess with the snow and slush. I even talked Tracey into getting the mail after she got off work. How lazy I am.

A link to this article was posted to one of the news groups I frequent and some idiot started sounding off about how this proves livestock farts hurt the environment more than trains, planes and automobiles.

I challenged him to find two identical garages that could be sealed shut. I would spend a day locked up in one with a farting cow and he could spend 4 hours in the other with a running car and we could prove who was right or wrong.
