12/10/07 Quote «The Legel Report»
God grant that not only the love of liberty
but a thorough knowledge of the rights of
man may pervade all the nations of the earth,
so that a philosopher may set his foot anywhere
on its surface and say: “This is my country.”
Benjamin Franklin

Quite the ice storm yesterday. I was afraid our power would go out as it sometimes does when we get freezing rain but that didn’t happen.

We all had a pretty lazy morning since we didn’t want to go outside in the mess. I went out long enough to dump some salt on the front walk and steps but I don’t think it did much good.

Noah said it didn’t melt it but made it “bumpy” enough to walk on without slipping. I just hope they get to the secondary roads before everybody heads out for work and school today.

No School Today! How happy that makes me (Ben & Aaron too!) I was out this morning and the main roads were fine and back roads were ok... just plan on going slow and stopping early. Have a great day!
