Hilarious! I can remember watching these skits on The Carol Burnett Show and just laughing til the tears came. We dont have simple slap-stick humor like this anymore. It seems nobody thinks something is funny without profanity or racism. The good ol days I guess.
I agree with most of this but I would probably spend the savings differently. I think a first priority would be to use some of that extra cash to remove the lobbyists from our political structure. Universal health care would also be high on my list. I am all in favor of downsizing the military-industrial complex the devil is in the details of doing that though.
We braved the weather last evening to go to dinner with Mom. It was just Tracey, me & Mom because DD decided not to go out in the snow.
It really wasnt too bad going to and from dinner but the snow was beginning to accumulate by 7:00 when we headed for home.
It doesnt appear any of the plows were out on the secondary roads at all. I still dont understand why the road crews wait until the roads are terrible before they even start clearing them.
I would say we have at least 6 inches and maybe more. It would appear I am going to get to try out the snow blower after all. Guess I better finish putting it together and gas it up. Fortunately I already have the gas and oil!
