I’m sure there must be some stunning correlation and commentary related to a nation’s ability to make the trains run on time. In that regard I fear America and Amtrak are failing dismally. That’s right, Tracey’s train ride from Chicago to Bloomington was over an hour late because of “signal problems”. Whatever. I don’t need their excuses. It’s not like there should be that many traffic jams but there are because commuter trains share the tracks with freight trains ... and freight trains get the priority. We are glad to have Tracey home and I’m sure she was glad to sleep in her own bed last night.
