Happy Birthday Quincy Mathewson!
Clayton came home with Noah Sunday night and spent the night on our couch.  He and Noah went to school together and he was home from college for a visit.  He was around the house all day yesterday until Noah borrowed the Blazer to take him home.  It was snowing and Noah’s car isn’t so too good in the snow.

I had wanted to go out to eat for supper but once Tracey got home she didn’t want to go out in the weather again so we stayed home and raided the cupboards.  Shortly after she got home Noah said he was going to brave the weather and go to visit Denise.  Tracey told him he had to stay the night if he was going and I told him to take the Blazer again.  I agreed he shouldn’t be driving home last night.  Not only because of the weather but because he would be coming home late at the same time as all the New Year’s party drivers.

It is supposed to get a lot colder tonight and tomorrow.  It may be just too cold for my wimpy self to go shovel snow or run the blow snower.  We shall see.  Heck ... I was such a wimp I didn’t even go out to the road to get the mail yesterday.  That’s bad.  Probably nothing out there but bills anyway!

We managed to stay up until 11:00 last night watching CSI reruns and then Tracey said, “It has to be midnight somewhere, I am going to bed!”  So we went to bed.

Serious Times

During these serious times, people of all faiths should remember these 4 religious truths:

1. Muslims do not recognize Jews as God’s chosen people.

2. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.

3. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of the Christian world.

4. Baptists do not recognize each other at Hooters.
