Michael T. and I had a good breakfast and conversation yesterday. We talked quit a bit about politics, the primary news and the state of our economy. A couple questions I had to look up for myself later when I got home ... such as how many seats are up for grabs in the Senate. Another topic which I had only a vague awareness of was about Hillaritys accusations that Obama had told the Canadians not to worry, that he wouldnt be changing NAFTA, that it was all campaign rhetoric. I spent some time on this one when I got home and decided the link below to be about the best at explaining the convolutions of he said - she said. I will also put my opinon into the comment section of that post.
I picked Aaron & Ben up from school and we went to pick up the Taurus from the repair shop in Morton. I drove the Taurus home and it seems to be in good order once again. It is still a bit rough but it does have almost 125,000 miles on it and I couldnt expect them to erase all evidence of that.
Ben just left at about 4:15 a.m. to get on a bus at the high school. He will be traveling to Chicago for a robotics meet. I sure hope his team wins, but more importantly, I hope he has a good time.
