Tammy posted some updates last night:
Hi Tammy ... sounds like a busy week with some good and some bad. I think Ashley got the best of it and I hope that perhaps now they can get Dave back on track. I am one example of better living through modern chemistry so I guess now Dave can be too :-] We will be hoping the best for Andy and YES! The unexpected beautiful day was nice!
Noah climbs on an airplane today ... destination sunny Hawaii. He is going there for 10 days with his fellow karate instructors. Hopefully he has packed enough sunblock to keep from getting fried. We have been pumping him full of last minute travel warnings, instructions, and suggestions. I expect he will be delighted just to get away from his crazy parents who worry too much! |
Bon voyage Noah! That must mean it’s time to say:
“Happy Anniversary Noah and Denise”
I wouldn’t want the plane ride, but I’d take Hawaii right now! I still saw 3.5” of snow for today and tomorrow. I hope it melts as fast as it hits!

| Noah and Denise just went out the door to go to the airport. His plane is supposed to leave Peoria just after 9 this morning. Their anniversary is today! I don’t think Denise is too happy about him leaving her for so long ... I don’t think they have been apart more than a day or two for the entire year! |

| LOL. . .I don’t think Mike and I have been apart for more than a couple of days in 37 years!!!! I hope that Noah has a safe and wonderful trip. |

Noah is in the air over the Pacific now after a cancelled flight out of Peoria, a hasty re-schedule of an Allegiant flight, etc. It doesn’t seem possible to fly anywhere without some problem somewhere.
I think a week is about all that Tracey and I have been apart at a time. I went to a few union trips for that long without her and she takes the boys down to the farm about a once or twice a year without me. |
