Since I didnt have a car all week I had to go shopping yesterday. I enticed Tracey to go with me by taking her out to breakfast. It didnt take long for me to realize I dont ever want to shop on Saturday again. It was really busy. There were no real problems ... the check out lanes were running smooth, etc. It is just hard to get around and get your stuff with all those people!
Tracey and I had dinner with Mom and DD at the Cracker Barrel. We got a pretty good waitress this time and they had coleslaw again. Thats two weekends in a row! They still dont have any tomato soup or chili but thats par for the course. We went back to Moms as usual to palaver, grumble and gripe. We are all in agreement that Spring cant get here too soon and we are happy with the thought that Daylight Savings Time will get here soon!
(Next Weekend!!)
It was after 11:30 last night before Ben made it home from his trip to Chicago. I was beginning to worry because I know he has a midnight curfew for driving, but he made it home in time. He was totally exhausted but it sounds like he had a really great time and some good adventures. He stumbled off to bed real fast so we wont get the details until he wakes up later today.
Census A census taker in a rural area went up to a farmhouse and knocked. When a woman came to the door, he asked her how many children she had and their ages.
She said, Les see now, theres the twins, Sally and Billy, theyre thirty-two. And the twins, Seth & Beth, theyre twenty-six. And the twins, Penny and Jenny , theyre twenty-four ..
Hold on! said the census taker, Did you get twins EVERY time?
The woman answered, Heck no, there were hundreds of times we didnt get nothin.
