In the picture above you can see it was snowing this Easter Sunday. It was really snowing hard when I took the picture but this picture doesn’t do it justice. I think the cardinal and the squirrel were as surprised as I was! Tracey says there is an old saying that if it rains on Easter Sunday it will rain the next seven Sundays ... but what does it do if it SNOWS on Easter Sunday? Maybe I should keep the snow blower out just in case?

I think the snow is a “nice” touch for Easter. I hope no rabbits are hiding white eggs!
My little bunnies are all still in bed. I’ve got an Easter date with a washer and dryer...oh what fun!

You know what they say....the early bird gets the worm!!
Well, the birds probably had a very hard time today. It was so weird. It would get dark like a spring thunderstorm was coming, but then it would snow like a blizzard! We actually had some snowy/ice on the windshield of the van at my parents’ house between Washington and Metamora tonight. We had to warm the van up so it would melt instead of scraping! |

| Out here in the country (north of Peoria) we had huge snowflakes but it didn’t stick. It was really cold, though, and my little niece wouldn’t even look for eggs, she sent her mom out to do it for her. |
