I tried a couple of Tammy’s inspired April Fool’s suggestions but they didn’t work out for me.  Noah found the rubber band on the sink sprayer without getting sprayed ... and blamed it on Aaron.  Ben found the tape on his optical mouse real fast (because I borrowed the tape from him, Duh!).  Tracey never did use her mouse so I finally just told her about it.  I seem to be the only fool in the house!

I noticed several of the local blogs tried to fool folks with some weird stories but around the Peoria area sometimes weird is normal so I think several of them probably went right over my head.  Or is it that I am weird enough that weird seems normal to me?  Anyway, I gotta another year to work on my shtick!
Oh you poor “April Fooler”!  ;)  First of all, they used clear scotch tape and not a rubber band on the sprayer.  Then you need to have your own tape on hand silly!
Ashley got me again after dinner.  In amongst trying to get the dinner dishes done, diningroom curtains hung back up, discussing her driver’s ed teacher and his arrogance/ignorance, Ashley handed me a fieldtrip permission slip.  It said that French I was going on a fieldtrip this Friday to see a play at the Civic Center.  Of course, I signed it!!!  The little stinker did a mighty fine job too!
Tip for next year:  use Ashley’s information site:  familyfun.com.  She said she was going to send me a “tax letter” that she found on there, but opted for the fieldtrip.  Sure glad it’s April 2nd!!  ;)
Have a sunny warm day!  I’m on fieldtrips today...Kidder Music in Peoria....ahhhh...what a teaching life!

Everybody here says I am not so too good at April Fool’s.  Oh Well.  Sounds like you had a busy evening.  Have fun at the music store ... I think we rented a trumpet from there for Noah a hundred moons ago or so.  Noah gave up early on music.  He just never got into it at all, but he tried.

Hi postsimian!
I thought so!  In fact yours was so out of character I was actually pretty sure.  At least the few posts of yours that I had read previously to judge your character in the first place.

Haha, yes, I knew I wasn’t going to fool anyone, so I decided to hide a few cheap shots in the post and declare “Fools Day” as “GOP Day.”  I’m pleased enough with it.  :P
