Yesterday Tracey cleaned up Jakes bathroom area outside and also the back patio while I supervised Aaron and Ben. I got them started on digging and raking the parts of the front yard rutted by driving and where the Blazer got stuck. They werent real excited about doing it, but they did a great job. We also got a lesson in using the brush saw. I had them cut up the section of tree that split off the old elm last fall. We had pulled it aside last year but I had them cut it into several large pieces so it could be moved over near the ditch on the south end of our property. Just enough to get it away from where we usually mow at that end. Again, they didnt put a lot of enthusiasm into it but they did get the job done well and nobody got hurt. That was about the extent of our outdoor work party. They immediately took off for the rest of the day in case Dad might dream up something else for them to do!
Mom, DD, Tracey and I dined together at the Cracked Barrel again last evening as we usually do on Saturday evening. Our conversations ran true to form with some talk about how welcome the Spring weather is. DD has her computer hooked back up again and is pleased that it is running well but she still hasnt been able to get her Internets or email working. Im afraid she is going to have to call tech. support and have them talk her through the specific settings for her modem, etc.
