Corporate America has come a long ways in learning how to manipulate people to their own profit. Of course the meetings were meaningless and ridiculous. That’s almost always a given.

A meeting that is meaningless and ridiculous? Oh, my I just can’t imagine that! (and the crazy thing is, meetings are often about “productivity")

These meetings were about Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). They are so NOT concerned they even outsource their meetings to somebody else to run. Go figure.
