The Legel Report

Poor Jake was sick all day yesterday. He started upchucking the night before and it continued on throughout the day. I eventually had to lock him in the kitchen to keep him off the carpets. Of course he thought he was in trouble for being sick and couldn’t figure out why he had been banned from all the other rooms where the boys and I were. I’ve let him back in with me this morning and really hope he has healed up. I suspect he ate something he shouldn’t have on one of his trips outside. Who knows.

This new blood sugar medicine is not much fun ... I felt pretty icky in the stomach most of the day. I blamed it on the new medicine but it may also have been from following Jake around with a roll of paper towels cleaning up spew. Urp! We shall see today. I’m not really seeing any big change in my results but maybe it takes a few days to start lowering the blood sugar.

Poor Jake! Hope his tummy is better today!
Do be careful with new meds. and you’re home alone all day!! Yesterday just wasn’t a good day for you two huh.

Hi Tammy!
Jake seems to be doing better this morning. I have my trusty cell phone in case I need help, but I don’t think it will come to that. The doctor and the literature warned that “stomach upset” was a possibility at first so I was expecting it a little. It hasn’t been bad ... just annoying.

How did the day go for you two gents??
Boy, what a “hard” day I had...I spent the day at Kroger, Kmart and Monical’s! Fieldtrips!! We toured Kroger (got a banana & cookie), looked at flowers at Kmart, had a tour and ate pizza at Monicals! Whew!

We’re both doing a little better. Jake only lost it once today but still hasn’t eaten anything ... he’s looking pretty sad yet.

I didn’t have as much trouble today but I’m not impressed. I need to lower the blood sugar more and so far this new stuff isn’t doing it. I will give it some more time.
