| Can you feel the frustration building? All across the country the school year is winding down and millions of children of all ages are straining against time to be FREE! Aaron & Ben have been pacing around here like a couple of caged tigers. They are particularly incensed at the do-nothing make work they will have to endure for the next several days. Too much time for the teachers to let them quit and yet not enough to really get into anything meaningful because obviously ... whos paying attention anyway! I know I must appear ancient by any standard my sons choose but I really can remember the anxiety that possesses them. The years may fly by now but back then each day crawled like an eternity until that last day and then summer time started at fast forward. |
Amen...the end of the year jitters are here too! Weve got the FFA end of the year banquet tonight. This is my last day of regular class. We have an all school picnic tomorrow at 12:30 and then schools out for summer for me! Poor Ashley has to maintain until May 30th! |

| I think Aaron & Ben have all next week yet before they can be free. And I think they go back one day the following week to pick up the last grade reports. |

| My kids have been in exceptionally good moods, but then, they are still at an age where they have field trips. One is going to an obstacle course (the high up in the air kind, where you wear helmets and harnesses, a ropes course) and the other, 6 flags! Im so jealous! Field trips, plus an end in sight. (No summers off for me!) |
