Tracey and I took a road trip to Champaign last evening and she checked out the motor scooter she wanted to see. She decided it was too heavy (450 lbs.) and sat just a little too high. She would prefer something that was short enough she could put both feet on the ground when stopped without having to slide off the seat. I know she was very disappointed about the decision but I would rather she not buy something too big to handle. The last thing she needs is to fall over and get pinned by 450 pounds of motorcycle in the middle of the road. We looked at a couple other models but decided to look closer to home if we weren’t going to get the MP3. The only reason we went all the way out to Champaign was because they were the closest dealer for #Piaggio.

We stopped at the Olive Garden for supper and then went by the train station in Normal on our way home. Tracey went inside to ask the jerk at the ticket counter about the parking situation. That guy needs to be fired. He was totally unhelpful and said she should have called the 1-800 number instead of bothering him. Tracey explained the people at the 1-800 number were giving us the number at the train station which was never answered. The jerk says he is too busy to answer phones. I could give him some time off. It was just as well Tracey went in to talk to him. She said I probably would have reached in and extracted him through the little hole in the glass and put knots on his head. I don’t know about that, but I’ll bet his ears would have been ringing from the shouting! So we got a parking pass to put in our window if there happens to be a parking space open when we get there, no guarantees. And if there is no place to park we are out of luck because the jerk didn’t know about any other long term parking. We will just have to get there early and hope for the best. That part of our trip was certainly wasted.

We can’t forget to mention today is the last day of school! We take 4 final tests today which are stupid because it is a compltete test of your memory skills not what we lerned, since everyone was cramming as much information last night! Oh, I will be glad for this day to be over!

Aaron & Ben are very much looking forward to the end of this day as well! Then they can wander around the house all summer complaining they are BORED!
