Man what a day I had yesterday. Nothing like a real hectic day to make you appreciate the rest of your boring life! First I want to say HI! to Kyle. I didnt mean to ignore you yesterday ... I just didnt get settled down until late in the evening and didnt even look at the blog comments or email. I guess I sort of listed about all of my Pet Peeves and when I think of a new one it always seems a variation on an old one. I dont want to repeat myself. I do know what you mean about waiting at the ATM. Or just about any other line. I really hate it at the grocery store when they stand there like a dumb ox and then go digging through pockets or purse to find their check book and pen, then take FOREVER to fill out the check and fill in the check register, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. They could have been doing all that while waiting in line, but NOOooo! And now you got me started! Yes! It ticks me off! So we got a new motorcycle (scooter) in the garage. We were supposed to pick it up today but we knew it would be raining all day (which it is certainly off to a good start) so had to make umpteen phone calls to get the dealer in Champaign and Michael T. all lined up. I also had several calls back and forth with the insurance agent to get the insurance bought and a proof of insurance copy faxed to me. It seemed like it took forever for the dealer guy to get all the paper work done so we could go home last evening but it was only a freaking HOUR AND A HALF! Needless to say I am not so too impressed with this dealer dude because I dont think he knows all that much about his product. The instrument panel on the scooter was still in metric and the date / time hadnt been set. Makes me wonder what else he didnt have time for. Michael T. really put the bike through some paces on the way home taking back roads with twists and turns. He seemed to think it was in good order and that Tracey will have a good time on it. It was after 8:00 by the time I got home, ate supper and settled in. |
Hi, sorry I havent been able to comment (or even read lately)... work has just been too darn busy, making me too darn tired once I get home to do anything other than make dinner and do a little laundry! Congrats on the new scooter, though, Ive at least managed to keep up with that much. |

Hi Jennifer, Thanks for the congrats! My wife has been working on this purchase for a couple weeks now and finally we have one home for her. She is planning to take the written motorcycle test today if the Pekin DMV isnt too crowded. Hopefully she will be able to get her street license by the end of June or so ... we shall see. Dont work too hard! The flowers are beautiful this time of year! |
