I got a new computer chair! It was a belated Fathers Day present that arrived yesterday. It is a well built chair with no cheap plastic. It has a weight limit of 450 pounds! The arms fold up out of the way if you dont want them and there is plenty of room for my big butt. Cushy soft too! It has an air pump to expand a lumbar support and the arms are nicely padded. It has a heavy duty set of legs on it and can be raised and lowered. It also leans back and the tension is adjustable on that too! Many thanks to Noah and Denise for spending so much time looking for just the right chair and to Tracey for the original idea. I have been using a hard, wooden kitchen chair for years now and this is just a wonderful present. Now my butt wont go to sleep and my back wont hurt when I spend too much time in front of the computer. THANKS GUYS!! I had planned to do some more grass mowing yesterday but went grocery shopping and that blew my energy for the day. I got the bad bagger again at Schnucks and was in a foul mood by the time I got everything home and put away. I wish they would find something else for the guy to do because bagging groceries is beyond his capacity. Another cool thing happened yesterday ... I won the Lotto! I received a check in my name for $38! It isnt much but it is a start. Maybe next week Ill get all of the Lotto numbers instead of just three. |
So, youre the one taking away Daves money!! He plays something every week, but his pocket remains empty. I get after him for spending/wasting our money, but he keeps doing it. He tells me that someone has to win and it just could be him! Congrats to you though! You need a mower like my dads to mow your yard....it is sooooo COOL! He had a Grasshopper, which was neat too, and traded it in for a more expensive model. I cant remember the name, but it has suspension so you dont bounce over the holes in the yard. Its like a grasshopper, but way more expenisve! I think it ranks up there with Traceys scooter, but you can only mow grass with it! I had to have a tutorial on the new mower since they are in southern IL for a Newmar motorhome rally. My dad said he didnt think Id NEED to mow. I think he just doesnt want me driving his new toy yet! I mowed with his grasshopper for him and that was ok. Andy went with them. The campground that they were supposed to stay in tonight got some flooding so they had to switch. With all of the motorhomes coming in for their national rally, it was hard to find somewhere to go. They ended up at Rend Lake, but they had to stay 2 nights. They left yesterday and will stay until Sat. morning. Then they will go to the DuQuoin, IL fairgrounds for the rally. They wont be back until the 28th or 29th. Quiet around here...Ashley never stays home! I miss the noise!!!!! Whatever am I going to do when they move out?!?!! |

Sorry Dave ... I didnt know winning $38 would get you into trouble, but thanks for the cash!! Actually I would like to add about 6 or 7 zeros to the end of that 38! My mower is great! It does a good job, runs fast, has zero turn, etc. It is ME that doesnt mow good! I dont like the heat, dirt and bugs. I would rather be in the house sipping iced tea! (Or taking a nap!) Our house is some quieter too with Noah not around to fight with Aaron. In a couple weeks we wont see Noah at all as opposed to only an hour or two in the evening. I have come to terms with my boy growing up but Tracey is really having a hard time with it! |

I thought you had a riding mower tractor kind. (if that makes sense). I LOVE to mow!! (I dont like to mow during the heat of the day so I try to avoid that time) I do some great thinking and daydreaming while mowing. See, I can finally be alone for some me time when I mow. I know I was just complaining about the quietness... Forgot to tell you that your new chair seems very, very nice and comfy too! Now dont sit in front of the computer too long -- the grass is growing! ;) |
