In this Jan. 21, 1987 file photo, comedian George Carlin poses with his daughter Kelly, left, and wife Brenda as he receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles. Carlin, 71, whose staunch defense of free speech in his most famous routine Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television led to a key Supreme Court ruling on obscenity, died Sunday June 22, 2008. He went into St. Johns Health Center in Santa Monica on Sunday complaining of chest pain and died later that evening, said his publicist, Jeff Abraham.
I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Brad, the computer guy, to come over. Brad clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. He gave me a bill for a minimum service call.
As he was walking away, I called after him, So, what was wrong? He replied, It was an ID ten T user error. I didnt want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired: An ID ten T user error? Whats that ... in case I need to fix it again? Brad grinned. Write it down, he said, and I think youll figure it out.
Whew...I just got back from putting Ashley on a charter bus bound for Six Flags Great America. She was soooooo excited!! Ashley is like Dave -- she LOVES to ride! She loves thrills and adventures. She was also excited to ride on a charter bus. Shes never been on one before. About a month or so ago, her cousin took her to a youth group. Ashley liked it so shes been going on Sun. nights. They offered this bus trip to Jr. and Sr. high kids. I decided that it was worth the $50.00 because then I dont have to take her to a Six Flags!! This getting up at Dark O Thirty is for the birds though! I was up at 4:45 because she had to be at the church office by 5:40. They were supposed to leave at 6, but they were running a little late. I missed Dave -- he left for work before I got back. Nap time now??!! ;)

Good Morning Tammy! I hope Ashley has a GREAT time! Go ahead and take a nap, its good for you! Tracey will be leaving for work by 7:30 a.m. and Im betting Jake & I will be napping by 8:30 or 9:00 ;-)
I like the Early to bed part but the Early to rise part just makes me tired. Thats why I dont do it anymore except when Tracey or the boys have to get up early. And I may even sleep in then too!

I think Ive finally finished fooling with the code to identify my links. It isnt exactly what I wanted but I think it will work.
I should be out mowing grass or any number of other things on my list of things to do, but I have been sitting here at the computer playing! Oh well.

Well, I just heard from my sister who talked to my neice that the kids are on their way home. My neice said that Ashley was fine and that she had a good time. (No, my daughter wouldnt think of calling her mother while on the trip!) I guess Ashley seems to think that she NEEDS to go back since she didnt get to ride EVERYTHING! Ashley wanted to ride something that you free fall on......oh, thats way too much information for me! It will be ok info. when I actually see my baby girl. Looks like Ill be picking her up at 10:30 if all goes well. Boy is she going to be wound up with lots and lots to tell! I think it will be another very little sleep night!

Thats always the way ... we get information about our children from other sources because our kids never think to call home themselves. I am betting Tracey is going to go nuts waiting on calls or email from Noah when he goes off to Arizona. Say HI! to Ashley when you see her!

The eagle has landed!! A little red on the nose and cheeks, but all in all it was a good time. Shes ready to go back. Well, the sending her with someone else so that I didnt have to take her plan kind of backfired! Hopefully shell forget after awhile. I feel for Tracey!!! Andy is camping with my parents and my mom MAKES him call me! I just talked to him tonight for about a half hour. Hes having fun and hes with my parents so I dont expect alot of phone calls. Both of my kids need to learn how to call home a little more often. At least with cells, I can call them any time! So far, they answer when I call. Good night...sleep tight! Making mud pies and bug cages in the morning (working hard). ;)
