Duh-bya Duh-bya summoned the countrys top scientists for a meeting, during which he announced, I changed my mind about us going to Mars. I think itd be a great idea if we sent a manned mission to the Sun.
The sounds of stifled groans, clearings of throats, and nervous laughter filled the room.
What, demanded Duh-bya, is the matter with that idea?
One scientist bravely spoke up, Well, for one thing, Mr. President, even if we were lucky, any spacecraft would be burned to a cinder if it got within a million miles of the Sun.
Duh-bya said, Yeah? Well, what if we tried landing at night?
Tracey has to open the clinic this morning and I got up to see her off ... otherwise I wouldnt be up at this hideous time of the morning! I have gotten used to sleeping in and I will be going right back to bed as soon as I see her tail lights vanish down the lane.
Busy day today. I will be having breakfast with Michael T., going to the pharmacy, and then spending time at the bank refinancing to pay for our new roof.

Gosh I must have really been sleepy when I got up the first time. Tracey doesnt have any tail lights. But her car does. Oh Well.
I forgot to mention another problem with Traceys new scooter yesterday. She complained she couldnt get the seat to open up to let her at the storage area under the seat. Theres a button on the key and you could hear a noise but the seat wouldnt unlock. There is also a hatch behind the seat that opens, so I opened that and managed to reach in and get the seat to lift up. The wire from the actuator had come off the seat latch. My hands were too fat to fit in there to fix it but Tracey managed to get it fixed after I showed her where to look. Thats the second thing to need fixing on her new scooter. Im not too impressed with Italian workmanship.

Michael T. and I had a nice breakfast. We discussed politics (as usual), a little bit about the Supreme Court ruling on guns, and he explained the process by which he acquired his new truck. I was again impressed by his religious devotion and by how much it is a part of his life and his decisions. But then I am probably the last person to be any judge of faith as I have (as yet as Michael would say) no hard religious faith. It is good to know there are some who still have hope for me.
Tracey and I spent too much time at the bank signing papers. Once again the papers they wanted us to sign were not correct. Somehow our address and my name merged into Allen J. Legel. I should have kept my mouth shut and let them go looking for him to pay the loan off.
The day is winding to an end and I am about ready for bed so I will type at you tomorrow. Good Night.
