The cooling tower at the Yongbyon nuclear complex, North Korea is seen in this December 18, 2007 file photo distributed by China’s official Xinhua News Agency.  North Korea’s 60-foot-tall cooling tower at it’s main reactor complex is destroyed, Friday, June 27, 2008, in Yongbyon, North Korea.  North Korea destroyed the most visible symbol of its nuclear weapons program Friday in a sign of its commitment to stop making plutonium for atomic bombs.

Lost Forever

A proctologist walked into a bank.  Preparing to endorse a check, he pulled a rectal thermometer out of his shirt pocket and tried to write with it.

Realizing his mistake, he looked at the thermometer with annoyance and said, “Well that’s great, just great!  Some asshole’s got my pen!”

The power went off some time last night and our clocks are all flashing 12:00.  I had no idea what time it was and overslept a long time.  (That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!)  I don’t feel too bad though because Tracey is still snoozing!

Noah & Denise joined DD, Mom, Tracey and I for supper at the Cracker Barrel this evening.  We talked a little with them about their upcoming move to Phoenix, Arizona.  They will be leaving Tuesday with each driving a separate car.  They are planning to load as much as they can into their cars and make the trip in 3 days.  I’m sure they will be OK but Tracey and I will worry about them just the same.  So if either of you are reading this, Noah and Denise, you MUST call us at last once or twice next week to tell us how you are doing and if you survived the trip!

I put some gas in Tracey’s scooter and she scooted around the yard some more.  She drew her lines on the driveway again to weave around (the rain had washed them away).  She wants to go get a helmet soon and she would like to go try her luck on the DMV marked lot in Pekin some time.  We will have to track down somebody with a motorcycle license to help her out with that.

Golly Gosh, where ever would you begin to even look for someone with a motorcycle license?  Name the day and time.

I just want to ride around it a few times, not ready to take the real test.  I am free evenings this week (except Friday)or anytime next weekend.  Now if I could just find someone brave enough to drive with me.  Maybe....Michael T. could do it?
Tracey 28 Jun 2008, 10:08 p.m.
Sure could, weather and temperature looks good Monday or Tuesday and maybe even Wednesday.  Monday or Tuesday would be better for me, but any day is fine.  Whenever you’re ready.
