The gaping hole that appeared in the belly of a Qantas Airways Boeing 747 en route from London to Melbourne. Metal fragments from an oxygen cylinder have been recovered from a Qantas jumbo jet after a mid-air explosion forced it to make an emergency landing in Manila.

Tracey finally tracked down someone who could tell her something about her scooter getting fixed. She was given a claim number when she called our agent but then nobody seemed to know anything about anything. We know the bike had been taken apart and an estimate created by the repair shop a week ago Monday. Finally Tracey got to speak with the insurance adjuster who said he had been waiting all this time on the repair shop for digital photos of the damage. What good is an adjuster who doesn’t even take his own photos? What a deal for the repair shop ... they can take pictures of any damaged vehicle and email them to the adjuster? It has been two weeks now and we aren’t sure if the parts have even been ordered. I’m really beginning to think nobody in this country has any concern whatever about doing their jobs responsibly. I am certain that we will be moving to a different insurance agent. They should have tracked this all down when Tracey called instead of giving her a phone number and making her do it for herself. Why should be we pay an agent when they don’t do anything but give you phone numbers to do their job for them?

Breaking News!
The House Judiciary Committee has voted to hold Karl Rove in contempt of Congress. I hope they lock the bastard up for at least 20 years ... but that will never happen. Crooked politicians hardly ever have to pay for their crimes. I can dream though!

I’ve decided to brave the weather and go to Decatur with Tracey. She will be driving her car and I will ride by scooter. I just hope it doesn’t rain and my butt doesn’t fall dead asleep! I should be home tomorrow afternoon.
