If we don’t succeed, we run the risk of failure.

This photograph obtained August 15, 2008 from www.searchingforbogfoot.com shows what is purported to be the body of “Bigfoot,” the legendary ape-like creature that has been the subject of decades of hoaxes and dubious sightings. Two US men on Friday claimed to have found the body of “Bigfoot.”

See, Mom

When my daughter was three, we watched Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs for the first time.  The wicked queen appeared, disguised as an old lady selling apples, and my daughter was spellbound.  Then Snow White took a bite of the poisoned apple and fell to the ground unconscious.

As the apple rolled away, my daughter spoke up.

“See, Mom.  She doesn’t like the skin either.”

Sorry to leave you hanging yesterday but it was a long day!  We made it to the scooter shop in Freeport by about 10:30 a.m.  They had Tracey’s crash repairs all completed except for one small reflector that wasn’t in yet.  They are going to ship that to us when it gets in and we can stick it on the side rear of the bike.  They also “forgot” to change the engine oil and the transmission hub oil so we will be doing that this morning.  The guy offered to do it for us yesterday but we wanted to get back on the road.  Oddly enough when I asked him if he had a filter I could buy to do it myself ... he didn’t have any.  So I’m wondering how he was going to do it with no filter?  Tracey rode all the way with only a couple short breaks and I know she was really road weary by the time we got home, but she was smiling.  She is really happy to have her scooter back.  I have the new light group to repair mine and I’m hoping it will work!  I plan to get started soon this morning on the oil changing and reassembly of my bike.

We were really pleased with the Bluetooth radios.  They seemed to operate pretty well even though I was sitting in the car and that might add some interference.  I forgot to take the camera along yesterday but maybe I can get Tracey to take a picture of me in my “radio hat”.

Tracey crashed on the couch as soon as we got home to rest her back and I went to dinner with Mom & DD without her.  She needed to rest up from her day’s journey!
